Golf Tryout Dates for Fall 2024: August 1-3
Tryouts for Varsity Golf will be held August 1-3 at Twin Lakes Golf Course. The tryouts will include playing 9-holes, and practice on the range and greens.
Tryout Schedule:
- Thursday, August 1, 1pm TRYOUTS Twin Lakes (Lakes), 2pm First Tee Time. More details to come, but students need to be prepared to stay until 7pm.
- Friday, August 2, 1pm TRYOUTS Twin Lakes (Lakes), 2pm First Tee Time. More details to come, but students need to be prepared to stay until 7pm.
- Saturday, August 3, 2-6:30pm TRYOUTS Twin Lakes. Tee times beginning at 3pm on Oaks and Lakes course. Tryout conversations may begin after the round.
- Monday, August 5 first tournament competition for 5 players begins at 8am at Stonewall. More details to come in the future.
- Monday, August 5, 4-7pm at Burke Lake for players not in the Stonewall tournament. We will practice and aim to complete any remaining tryout activities and individual conversations.
In order to try out you must have a VHSL Physical done after May 1, 2024. In addition, please complete the student registration, the student prospect form, and the team rules.

Team Rules & Policies Signature Form: Review and then student and parent/guardian must sign and submit only the signature page.
You must have completed a physical and the student registration before you can try out on August 1. Your physical must be dated after May 1st, 2024 in order to be valid. We strongly recommend submitting your physical, completing the registration, and submitting the prospect form by July 29, but no later than the first day of tryouts on August 1.
Below is a list of primary golf dates for the Fall 2024 Season. This is subject to change and updates. Also, here is a calendar view of golf activities during the season. Again, dates and times are subject to change. Best way to always have up-to-date information is to contact Coach Latimer at and join the email distribution list. Once the season starts we will use both email and BAND to provide scheduling information.
